„Java Long“ klasės metodas palyginimas () naudojamas dviejų ilgų objektų skaitiniam palyginimui.

Sintaksė:

 public static int compare(long x, long y) 

Parametras:

Aukščiau pateiktas metodas susideda iš dviejų parametrų:

1. Pirmoji ilgoji vertė, kurią reikia palyginti.
2. Antroji ilgoji vertė, kurią reikia palyginti.

Grąžinti:

Aukščiau pateiktas metodas grąžina:

1. 0, jei x==y.
2. Reikšmė mažesnė už 0, jei x
3. Didesnė nei 0 reikšmė, jei x>y.
